Inspired by history and the world around her Ingrid-Alejandra Noguera-Garces created "Aleja" the name for her handmade jewelry label. She resides and works in VT.

Aleja Designs are seated in the tradition of empowering objects: imbuing them with a deeply personal narrative that they can convey from generation to generation and throughout history.

Ingrid-Alejandra looks to nature, personal talismans, and the concept of pilgrimage, as influences.

Using materials such as sterling silver, 24 karat gold, oxidized bronze, Herkimer diamonds, turquoise, fresh water pearls, hand-picked nature and other found objects she has created a signature of rough-hewn sculptural elegance.
