Materials

All of our jewelry uses recycled metals and is nickel free. Sometimes bronze pieces can turn your skin green, which is a natural reaction to the chemical makeup of your skin and is not harmful to your health. Any adhesives used on our jewelry are non-toxic. We use vegan suede on our products and no animals were harmed during the production of our jewelry. We use all conflict free stones, certified Herkimer Diamonds from Herkimer NY, and we always make an effort to buy from smaller local collectors. All of our Oceana shells are collected from the shore and never from beneath the ocean, and are handpicked by the artist herself from all around the world. The wood used in our designs is handpicked from the forest floor and never taken off living trees, our slate is also found and collected by the artist. 

Delivery

All jewelry is handmade to order in our VT studio, so we cannot ensure an exact ship date. Please allow 3-4 weeks for all orders top be created and shipped. If you need a design urgently or at a certain time please email us at: admin@alejadesigns.com. 

Care

Aleja's pieces are handmade fine jewelry that should be handled with care. Please avoid getting these pieces wet, exercising or swimming while wearing them. Please keep away from small children. We suggest avoiding harsh chemicals from coming into contact with the jewelry. If you would like to clean your piece you can gently use a jewelry cleaning cloth, or we are happy to clean and polish your purchase for you, please ship the item with insurance and email us with the request!

Repair Policy

If your piece requires repair or arrives in unsatisfactory condition please do not hesitate to email us at: admin@alejadesigns.com. Items that need repair within 30 days of purchase will not require a repair fee. After 30 days, repairs start at $20 dollars but can vary depending on the extent of the repair. After sending us an email and receiving confirmation from us you may send you piece back to us via a trackable shipping method to: Belart, Attn: Alex, 160 Benmont Ave. Suite 2N-72, Bennington, VT, 05201. 

Return Policy

A great deal of care and love are placed into each piece of jewelry that we make! But, if for some reason you are unsatisfied, we do accept exchanges within 15 days of purchase for online store credit. Custom orders are not exchangeable. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We highly recommend insuring your item for repair or exchange! We are not responsible for a lost package and can not issue a refund if the package is lost or damaged. 

Sales Tax

Sales tax is only applied to purchases made within the state of Vermont. Tax charges will appear automatically during your checkout.
